Receipt printers that
work with Glintium POS.

Glintium POS prints to standard ESC/POS thermal receipt printers over Bluetooth (Android tills) or Wi-Fi/Ethernet. We verify real units against the app before recommending them — here's what we know works.

✅ Verified with Glintium POS

Element RW60+

80 mm thermal printer with auto-cutter, cash-drawer port, and every connection type: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB and Serial (takes 58 mm paper too). Verified end-to-end on our own unit: receipts, auto-cut, and cash-drawer kick over both Bluetooth and wired network. Around A$249, stocked by Australian POS suppliers (SKU PRELRW60006).

Cash drawers

Any standard 24 V RJ12 cash drawer plugs into the printer's drawer port — Glintium POS opens it automatically on cash sales and refunds. Verified with the VPOS EC410.

Expected compatible (not yet verified)

Epson TM-T82 series — Australia's most common counter printer. It speaks native ESC/POS, and the Ethernet models use the same network printing standard Glintium POS uses, so it should work as-is. We'll mark it verified once we've tested a real unit.

Budget 58 mm Bluetooth printers

The generic A$40–60 58 mm Bluetooth printers (eBay and similar) mostly speak ESC/POS and are expected to work on Android tills — set paper width to 58 mm in the app. Quality varies by unit and most have no cutter or drawer port; if you're buying new, the verified list above is the safe choice.

⚠ Star TSP100 / TSP143

Star printers use Star's own protocol by default, not ESC/POS. The TSP143IV can be switched into ESC/POS emulation; older TSP100III units generally can't. If you already own one, ask us before assuming it will work.

Setup notes

Bluetooth or network?

Both are free on every plan. Bluetooth is the quickest start on an Android till. A wired (Ethernet) or Wi-Fi printer works from any till on the same network — and is the option for iPhone/iPad tills.

How do I connect it?

Bluetooth: pair the printer in your device's Bluetooth settings, then pick it in Glintium POS under Today → Receipt printer. Network: plug in the cable (or join the printer to your Wi-Fi), print its self-test page to find its IP address, and enter that IP in the same screen.

Does the printer need the internet?

No. Printing is local — receipts print even with no internet connection at all.
